Unique place to get right down to the North Shore next to the water. Quiet, birds, hiking trail.

Beautiful nature preserve that offers much to see and is an easy trek to bring your family on.

Cool place. Convenient parking and easy trails

I have not been to the nature center but the trail here is excellent. It has a bit of everything - pine and birch forrest, a stream, small prairie patch and great Lake Superior views. It is also well marked and free. Although one should consider giving a donation to support the trail at its conclusion.

The nature center building is worth visiting, especially with young kids. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The beach is gorgeous and protected from wind. Nice walking trails and some uncommon wildflowers. Hike to the point for beautiful views.
